Gravenhurst is the oldest incorporated town in the District of Muskoka, and it shows in the boats. Nowhere else in cottage country will you see more classic wooden boats, vintage Chris-Crafts, and maintained cabin cruisers per dock.
The town sits at the southern end of Lake Muskoka. Muskoka Wharf has become a major hub for larger cabin cruisers and express boats, some running 30 to 36 feet. These boats require more care during haul-out and wrapping, and we plan for that. Bigger hulls need a properly engineered support frame before shrink film goes on, and we build that frame on-site.
Drive time from Gravenhurst to our storage facility is 55 to 60 minutes. Fall pickups from the Wharf area are straightforward because the marina access is well-paved and trailer-friendly. Private docks on the south shore of the lake often require confirming water depth and dock height before we bring the trailer in. For classic wooden boats, we take extra time on condition documentation before and after storage. Any boat with a varnished hull or original brightwork gets photographed in detail at pickup and return. That documentation protects both parties and is included at no extra charge.
