Unlike a lot of Muskoka, Bracebridge is a working town. Boat owners here aren't just seasonal cottagers, many are year-round residents who use their boats from ice-out to freeze-up.

Bracebridge sits at the junction of Lake Muskoka and the Muskoka River, which means access points vary. We pick up from private docks on the lake, from the river, and from the public launch at Wilson's Falls Road if a trailer is already in the water. When you reserve, tell us your access point and we plan the route from there.

Drive time from Bracebridge to our private storage facility runs 45 to 50 minutes. The run up Hwy 11 is straightforward year-round. We book fall pickups from late September through early November, and spring returns from late April through mid-May. Bracebridge customers on the river tend to schedule earlier in the fall because low-water conditions on the Muskoka River can make launch access tricky by mid-October.

You'll see classic wooden boats that have been in families for decades, the pontoons that come out for long August weekends, and working runabouts that get used every weekend from May to October. We're comfortable with all of them. Shrink wrap is calibrated to the hull shape and we build the support frame before applying film, so the wrap holds through ice storms and freeze-thaw cycles without sagging against the hull.
